What we’re building now, what shipped in the last few weeks, and where it goes from there. The future carries no dates, we’d rather ship things properly, and what writers ask for decides the order.
Building
In the works
- The offline desktop app for Mac and Windows: local-first and fast, with your manuscript mirrored to plain files in a folder you choose. In review with the app stores now.
July 2026
- Export, rebuilt. Pick the outcome, a manuscript, an ebook, a backup, and watch a live preview assemble it.
- Four AI providers, one workspace. ChatGPT, Gemini and OpenRouter join Claude, all native, all on your own key.
- Semantic recall. Ask your story finds scenes by what they mean, not just the words they use.
- Inline comments. Collaborators leave feedback right in the margin, with a composer that works on a phone.
- Progress snapshots. A shareable picture of your writing progress, drawn in the app's own hand.
- The relationship map. Your cast as a living web, replayable chapter by chapter.
- The revision suite. The Reader, draft compare, track changes, smart rename, chapter briefs and custom cover art.
- Scenes. First-class scene structure inside chapters, with continuity checks scoped to the scene.
