Terms of service
These terms govern your use of PullAtlas. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Who we are
PullAtlas is operated by PullAtlas Ltd (“PullAtlas”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17349728), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us at privacy@pullatlas.com. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the courts of England and Wales; if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the country where you live.
The service
PullAtlas is a private manuscript workspace for drafting, planning, continuity, review, and release planning. It does not host public chapters, publish reader-facing pages, or distribute your work anywhere. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use it.
Your account
You need an account to use PullAtlas. Keep your credentials safe: you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and use a password you do not reuse elsewhere.
Your writing stays yours
You own everything you create in PullAtlas: manuscripts, Atlas entries, plans, notes, all of it. You grant PullAtlas only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you, such as storing your work, syncing it between your devices and collaborators, and processing it when you invoke a feature. PullAtlas claims no other rights in your work and does not use it to train AI models.
AI features and bring-your-own-key
AI features run only when you invoke them. PullAtlas is bring-your-own-key: you connect your own API key from a third-party AI provider (such as Anthropic’s Claude, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, or OpenRouter), and when you use a feature, the relevant story context is sent to the provider you have chosen to produce a result. Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms, and any usage charges they levy are between you and them. We are not responsible for a provider’s availability, output, pricing, or policies. If we ever offer an optional way to run AI without your own key, it will be a separate, clearly priced purchase. Drafts produced by AI are suggestions for you to accept, edit, or discard; you are responsible for the work you keep. AI usage is rate limited to keep the service reliable for everyone.
Plans and billing
The Free plan includes the full writing toolset with your own AI key, story grounding on your Atlas and chapters, and sharing one project with up to three collaborators. Hobby, Pro, and Studio are paid subscriptions that unlock further workspace features as described on the pricing page, such as deeper story search, the revision suite, richer export formats and, when it launches, the offline desktop app; Studio adds unlimited sharing. Payments and taxes are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates), acting as our merchant of record and the seller of record for your subscription; card details go to Paddle and never touch PullAtlas servers. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, which you can do at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then. Prices may change with advance notice before your next renewal.
Your right to cancel
If you are a UK or EU consumer you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. Because PullAtlas is digital content and access begins immediately, by subscribing you ask us to start the service straight away and acknowledge that this may end that 14-day right once the service has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights if the service is faulty or not as described. Beyond the statutory right, our Refund policy gives you 14 days from any charge to request a full refund; requests go through Paddle or to privacy@pullatlas.com.
Acceptable use
Do not use PullAtlas to break the law, to store content you have no right to hold, or to attempt access to accounts, projects, or data that are not yours. Do not probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or use it to generate content that is unlawful. Accounts that do may be suspended or closed.
Data, exports, and backups
Export tools can produce a full PullAtlas backup and manuscript files at any time, and archived work uses restore-friendly archival rather than immediate deletion. Keep your own copies of work you cannot afford to lose; no online service should be your only copy.
Service availability and liability
PullAtlas is provided as is. Reasonable care goes into keeping it fast, correct, and available, but no warranty is made that it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or for loss of data where you had the means to keep your own backups. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Ending your use
You can stop using PullAtlas at any time; export your work first. PullAtlas may close accounts that violate these terms, and may retire the service with reasonable notice and a window to export your work.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date above always reflects the current version.
