Briefings
Sit down to a chapter already knowing where you are and what to watch.
Coming back to a long story after a few days away is its own small tax. The briefing pays it for you: a short orientation for the chapter you are about to write.
The briefing panel
The panel gathers what matters for the current chapter into a few plain sections:
- Recap: where the story stands coming into this chapter.
- Focus: what this chapter is meant to accomplish.
- Watch: continuity threads and details not to drop.
This structured briefing is built from your own plan and Atlas, so it is useful without any AI at all.
The AI-synthesized brief Pro
On Pro and up, AI draft writes the briefing for you. It reads your canon and the chapters leading up to this one, using semantic recall, and synthesizes a recap, a focus, and the threads to watch, grounded in what has actually happened rather than a generic template.
