Backups
Your work is yours. Take a full copy of a whole project whenever you like. Free
A backup is a complete, portable copy of a project, not just its prose. It is free on every plan, because your words leaving with you isn’t a premium feature; it is the whole promise.
What a backup contains
Where an export produces a manuscript to read or submit, a backup captures the project as a whole: the chapters and the surrounding information that makes them a project. It is the thing you keep so nothing is ever locked in.
Backup or export
- Reach for an export when you want a document to publish, submit, or hand to someone.
- Reach for a backup when you want your own safe, complete copy to keep.
Why it matters
PullAtlas is private by default and has no lock-in. Regular backups mean you always hold your own work outside the app, and they are the simplest way to keep a personal archive as a long project grows.
