The relationship map

The Atlas view includes a relationship map: every connected entry as a node, every connection as an edge between them. It turns a list of names into a picture you can read.

The map

Nodes are coloured by entity type, so characters, locations, and factions are distinguishable at a glance. Select a node and its full detail opens in the panel beside the map, so you can read an entry without losing your place on the canvas.

Moving around

Pan by dragging the canvas and zoom to move between the whole web and a single cluster. A big cast stays legible because you can pull back for the shape and push in for the detail.

Edges and kinds

Each edge is tinted by its connection kind, Ally, Rival, Family, Love, or Neutral, with a legend so the colours are never a guessing game. At a glance you can see the alliances, the rivalries, and the family lines running through your story.

The chapter scrubber

Relationships change over a story. The chapter scrubber lets you move through the book and see the map as it stood at that point, so you can watch the web form, shift, and fracture as the plot unfolds. It reads from the states you record for each entry.
