What is PullAtlas

A private, calm home for a whole manuscript, and the pieces that keep a long story straight.

PullAtlas is a workspace for people writing long fiction: serials, novels, novellas, and collections. It keeps everything one story needs in a single private place, the prose, the worldbuilding, the plan, and the release, so you are not stitching a manuscript together out of a folder of documents, a wiki, a spreadsheet, and a chat window.

The guiding feeling is calm. The tools stay out of the way while you write and step forward only when you ask. Nothing is public by default, and your words are always exportable and yours to take with you.

The idea

A long story is hard not because any one chapter is hard, but because the whole has to stay coherent across hundreds of pages: a character’s eye colour, when a city fell, who knows a secret and when they learned it. PullAtlas is built around that problem. The manuscript and the story bible live together, so the facts of your world are one click from the sentence you are writing, and the AI, when you use it, is grounded in your actual canon rather than guessing.

The pieces

Four things make up the workspace:

  • The manuscript. A focused editor for chapters and scenes, with autosave, snapshots, comments, and a distraction-free focus mode. See The editor.
  • The Atlas. Your living story bible: characters, places, factions, and items, how they connect, and how they change over the course of the story, with continuity checks that catch contradictions.
  • AI, grounded in your story. Optional help that reads your Atlas and prose: draft a scene, continue a passage, synthesize a briefing, or ask your whole manuscript a question. See How the AI works.
  • Planning and release. Arcs and beats to shape the story, progress to track momentum, and release tools to prepare serial chapters or a finished book for the outside world.

Who it’s for

Writers who are past the “single document” stage: a web serial that has grown a cast of dozens, a novelist keeping continuity across a trilogy, co-authors sharing a world. If you like to optimise how you work, PullAtlas rewards it, most things have a keyboard path and a quiet, powerful depth underneath the calm surface.

How these docs work

Each section stands on its own; read straight through or jump to what you need. Features that require a paid plan are marked with a small tier badge, so you always know what a given tool needs.
